What time does service start?

Sunday 10:30 am. We also have Sunday School starting at 9:15 am.

Can i bring my children?

Of course! We love children at First Baptist Church Chillicothe and offer age-appropriate environments where your children (Birth - 6th grade) will learn about Jesus and the Bible on their level. We have excellent and well-trained children's and nursery workers who have passed all the necessary background requirements. We ask that you check your children into our children's area so that your children can enjoy a service tailored specifically for their age group. However, it is also acceptable if you'd feel more comfortable having your children attend service with you.

What is the service like?

Our worship service is arranged to communicate the good news of Jesus Christ. Service normally begins with the First Baptist Church Chillicothe Worship Team leading the church in music. Our pastor then will come forward and share the message from the Bible. We conclude our worship service by responding to the message, normally through a song. Typically, our service last for about 70 minutes long.

How does the music sound? What kind of music do you play?

We have our own worship team with its own unique sound. We sing both songs that have stood the test of time and are fresh and new.

Do i need to dress up?

No. We like you just the way you are.

Is there someone that can help me get situated when I come to visit?

Yes. We know that coming to a new church for the first time can be intimidating. We would love for you to plan your visit so we know when you are coming. When you come for your visit, our Welcome Center volunteers will greet you in the lobby and help get you and your family where you need to be. Our team of dedicated volunteers will do everything they can to make sure you have the best experience possible.
